Can someone help me with my computer its my MSN Messenger, I can't seem to respond to people i have tryed saying messages like hi but get

The following message could not be delivered to all recipients:
Hello.

At times I can chat to people at times I can't today.
Is it me can anyone offer advice or help?

Done some temping which is finished, going to start some part time work in a cafe in County Mall at the end of the week if nothing else pops up.

Right I have not changed my firewall settings (unless the person at my place that runs the computers has, and I have not reinstalled Messenger. Any suggestions?
