I have no problem with any other club but some of their fans also sing some very unsavoury songs and many have extreme views. Each to their own but personally I find songs supporting the IRA etc highly offensive. Hence I would prefer us not to copy any of their songs.

Sorry, can you explain how a song about Craig MacKail-Smith sung to the tune of a Depeche Mode track is supprting the IRA?

Because I don't understand.

To rolling in the deep

There's a striker Playing for our team
Getting the goals*for the blue and White army

The blue and White stripes will leave u breathless and you'll be wishing that you should of stayed at home
The *blue and White stripes will leave u breathless and you'll be thinking...

He's gonna score a goal
Craig mackail-smith
He'll even get one with his head
And leave u with defeat.*

Dunno how we could pull off signing adele though

sounded alright at Cardiff but has to be a bit slower , needs the WSU and WSL to dictate the pace for the North Stand.

I don't understand this problem with everyone singing the songs way too fast. Virtually everyone you speak to about it agrees they are sung way to fast, so why does it keep happening?

Yup, I am also struggling with that one...mabye the poster is a Rangers supporting bigot who can't stand anything to do with Celtic, it isn't as if the World is short of a few people like that!

only sung the chorus on Wednesday do do do do do's with Craig Mackail-Smith on the end. I posted words to a possible verse on the cardiff video thread

Why cant we do it properly with the rest of the words? Would sound sooooo much better.

Still say keep it simple, swap "where's your mama gone" for "Craig Mckail-Smith".
good tune, fits and nothing to learn.
for those that don't know the tune link below.

Yup, wouldn't disagree with this. Simple is good.
Also ... "C, C, CMS ... C, C, CMS" to the tune of "Sea, Sea, Seasiders ..." would work well enough.

On the A21 bus to Cardiff we came up with:

Everyday I love you CMS
apparently your wife has got nice breasts,
oh no I've gone and made a trouser mess,
coz every day I love you CMS

tune of Kaisers obviously (a few beers and no knowledge of his marital status were involved in this effort, although the first line works well).

A slight reworking that won't make us sound like complete POOFTERS:

Everyday I love you CMS,
It's good to see that you have joined the best,
I've got to get this message to the press,
That everyday I love you CMS.

Edit: :jester::jester::jester:

It seems my initial post was in serious need of a :jester: or two!

Fear not, I'm not foolish enough to think a sing about his wife's breasts would catch on!! But a lot of people seem determined to sing about 'CMS' - surely we can get something in with his name!!
