I know it's winter and all that but noticed no-one seems to have mentioned that Chris Adams is going for one of two selectors jobs tomorrow so I guess if he gets one of them he won't be around for us any more. I know he's got to look after his own career at 37 but he'll certainly be missed. Can't see him changing his mind again ....

Depends how much say Moores has in the decision. They'd be a good team, though Graveney, who is more conservative than Adams or Moores, will probably get "National Selector".

As the piece in the Telegraph says, he could be a selector and a county pro, like Mike Gatting was in the late 1990s.

I wouldn't mind him getting the P/T job. That would certainly promote our status as a club and could help with potential signings.

Ultimately, I would be gutted to see him leave, but thankful that he has put his heart and soul into the job and helped to transform us from also-rans to the team of the 'noughties'.
