Where do Brighton fans usually drink before the Charlton away match?

London Bridge or a pub near The Valley?

We'll be parking the cruiser at Greenwich Yacht Club around noon.

Plenty of time for cocktails and canapes before Parker picks us up in the Rolls around 2:20

The seaside.
Charlton is shit for pubs. Official away pub the Frenchhater (Antigallican) is probably the worst, the Anchor & Hope mentioned above is probably the best, but we're just talking different shades of shit here. The sensible option is Greenwich. There's all the touristy riverside ones, but also several great ale pubs in the streets just South of the train station. *nods*

I'll do a full pub guide thingy for anyone interested nearer to the time. In Greenwich the Richard 1st is a nice traditional Youngs pub on Royal Hill, right next door is the Greenwich Union, a swisher beer bar run by local craft brewery Meantime (usually has either Harveys Best or Dark Star Hophead as guest ale). The Ashburnham Arms on a nearby sidestreet is Shepherd Neame. All three within five mins walk of Greenwich station and have decent beer gardens (Ashburnham's is HUGE) for the tobacco inclined...

Here
The pub in Greenwich Market (in the middle of the one-way system) is a good bet - can't remember the name though
