Amazed that's still going - remember playing it nearly two years ago. It's fun for a fortnight but then you get bored.
The trick is to go online the minute your dividends get paid (it's like midnight on a Thursday or something) and reinvest them immediately in the share of the moment. By the time the people you're playing against log on the next day, your dividend money has had nine hours growth whilst theirs has sat dormant.
Also, don't try and second guess the market with conjectured punts - such as "oh, there's a premiere with Kiera Knightly next Wednesday, she might get some coverage". It doens't really work like that, just stick to the shares that are hot with Celebdaq (for whatever reason) if you want to make money. That's the main reason it gets boring though: the best tactic is to follow the market like a sheep, which doesn't make for lasting fun really.
