What a marvellous day. I struggled to contain my delight from the vantage point of the East Stand.

Superb masterclass of football. Charlton were soccerballed off the park - so much so that a rather respectable gent was ushered away by stewards after confronting Parkinson.

The Jimmy Seed Stand (despite a quiet spell in the first half) did Sussex extremely proud. Well done to all and, more importantly, well done to Brighton & Hove Albion from top to bottom.
