i need your help i cannot connect to gmail (and a few other sites) and i was wondering if its my pc? i've just had a new hard drive fitted and i thought it might be cos of that can anyone help me
also when i try to change my avartar on here it keeps asking me to log in even though i am is this connected at all

It won't be the hard drive.

Basic start point is to check network connectivity.

Make sure you're connected to the internet, then.

Click Start

Run

type cmd

type ping www.bbc.co.uk

check for a response (should return 212.58.240.120)

then ping the other problem sites.

If you get no response, it's a problem with your network setup..
