Plymouth boss Ian Holloway has vowed to stand a £2,000 round of drinks as a thank you to the 700 fans who made the 805-mile round trip to Sunderland on Saturday. He said: "Anyone who travelled up there please send me a letter. I would love to buy you a drink."

No.

Having a decent manager would have been nice though.

Nearly took QPR down last season:rolleyes:

Not really true.

They fell to pieces once he was on gardening leave and Waddock was put in charge.

Also even if he nearly did take QPR down (which he did not), McGhee actually took Brighton down.

Thats not the point is it?

He nearly took them down.

I know a couple of QPR season ticket holders and they weren't too pleased with him towards the end of his tenure as he kept playing players out of position and filling the midfield with cloggers and leaving the ball players on the bench.

I was down in the South West for the weekend & caught the IH post match interview.
But now can't remember his pre & post substitution comment, can anyone help me out.

It was up to his usual standard.

MM never offered us a drink when we went there and he played Jarrett because he thought he couldwin us the game that day. After jarrett came on we conceded 2 and that was the end of him bar a few cameo roles
