I took part in a free kick competition before this game in front of the north stand. I got 1 out of three and that was only because the goalkeeper felt sorry for me. I'm telling you, that penalty spot was sunken.

Know the feeling. I took a few as mascot against M'boro and scored 1/3 infront of the North Stand - looked like a right TOOL. Beeney tried to keep out the last one, but i put too much on it.

i lived in crawley at the time and it was the first ever footie game my dad took me to!
