Brighton team list announcement missing!?

I wasn't there today - but was listening on the radio......sounded abs.
superb.....well done to all there.

The radio guy said that villa did not announce the albion team list
just before kickoff as we do, and as every club I've visited do
(even Leyton Orient).

Is this true? - did they not read out the team list?

Someone ought to have a word with Villa's if this is true....
cos it's a bloody disgrace and totally and utterly ignorant.

Im pretty sure they did but you could hardly hear the announcer and he skipped through it.

Yes they read it out and displayed it on the big screen, but not until fairly late on.

They read both teams out about 20 mins before kickoff, then only the villa team a 2nd time.

The tannoy man also didn't welcome our team onto the pitch, thought that was bad form.

I noticed when the players came out of the tunnel at the start of each half the announcer only "Out come the Aston Villa players..." neglecting to mention the Albion team.
