A busy month has come to an end which ended in disaster for Russell Slade as it cost him his job. 7 games were played, just one game was won and exit from the Johnstones Paint second round was a nail in the coffin for Slade.

Nicky Forster easily won September's accolade taking 64% of the nations votes. That puts him joint top of the overall standings. Tunnicliffe had a solid month in those defeats and won over a few fans, whilst Dicker featured in the top 3 yet again.

Congratulations Nicky

Lets take a look back at October, no really we have to….

Brighton 0-1 MK Dons
Not a lot happened, El Abd was sent off for a ludicrous challenge

Leyton Orient 1-0 Brighton
Last gasp defeat knocked a fringe team out of the Johnstones Paint Pot Trophy

Yeovil 2-2 Brighton
Someone that wasn’t a striker finally scored. 2-0 up everyone was happy, then we snatched a draw from the jaws of victory. Crofts and Dickinson netted. Virgo was dropped but Slade was given the benefit of doubt.

Brighton 2-0 Gillingham
Happy days. A win, a clean sheet and all 11 players left on the pitch. Bennett smashed in a free kick and Elphick scored as McNulty made his return to the starting eleven.

Brighton 0-2 Oldham
Another rubbish game at Withdean where the team never got going. Some comedy defending and keeping ruined a chance of a result again

Tranmere 2-1 Brighton
Another rubbish game, spot the trend. Tranmere have been thrashed by everyone, and we still lost. Murray was hero and villian after scoring a penalty but missing sitters and getting sent off

Brighton 3-3 Hartlepool
It should have been a win, but the comedyfending was back. Dickinson and Forster (twice) scored the goals, but it wasn’t enough for a win after the horror show at the back.

Overall Table
1. Liam Dickinson 5pts (92 votes)
2. Nicky Forster 5 pts (70 votes)
3. Gary Dicker 4 pts (22 votes)
4. James Tunnicliffe 3 pts (13 votes)
5. Michel Kuipers 1 pt (7votes)

How is Dickinson overall leader? :wozza:

Bennett this month, not been a great one for anybody but he's shone at times.

Bennett, if only for the one bright spot in the month. The free kick.

I just don't understand how people are voting for Dicker, he was dreadful for most of Octobers games, Tranmere, MK, Oldham & Yeovil (2'nd half) are among the worst performances I've seen from him in a Brighton shirt.

Bennett is country miles ahead of everyone IMO.
