I wonder if that still feels like a good move? Reckon he's getting paid?

The most bizarre career change has to be Steve Penney, Optician.

He actually left us to join the physio team at Liverpool FC and worked there for awhile.

A few are still involved in football. Most seem to have moved on to careers where they can earn a living. No 'hit the bottle big time & living in a bedsit' type's.

I ran into Kevin Bremner a couple of years ago. His son plays/was playing for Cray Wanderers in the Ryman League at the time.

"Garry Nelson - Based in Essex where he has a number of business interests".

Out of them all, that sounds the dodgiest?? :)

It's Perry Digweed's I find most amusing - "runs an executive chauffeur service for racehorse owners" - why's he just specialising in providing this service to racehorse owners and how does this differ to being an executive chauffeur to the general public???

Missing off that list was Gary Chivers. Wasn't he involved in Digweeds chauffeur business?

My first season at the Albion. Fond memories of many of these. Especialy Garry Nelson of course. His excellent books on being a joureyman footballer should also be mentioned above.
