Brighton and Hove Albion V Rushden and Diamonds FA Cup "official match thread"

Will Brighton win and get into that prestigious third round draw or will we inevitably fall to another pile of shit at the withdean?

Brighton and Hove Albion possible line up:
Smith; Whing, Elphick, Tunnicliffe, El-Abd; Bennett, Crofts, Dicker, Cox; Forster, Dickinson
Subs from: Pelling (GK), Hoyte, Navarro, McLeod, Virgo, Hart, C Davies, A Davies, Thornhill, Livermore, McNulty.

Rushden and Diamonds possible line up:
Abbey; Corcoran, Osano, Stuart, Robinson; Byrne, Porter, Terry, Tomlin; O'Connor, Akurang.
Subs from: Roberts, Cousins, Smith, Downer, Farrell.

Brighton has Kuipers out with a groin injury, Hawkins out with a nose related Achillies problem and Murray is suspended.

Rushden and Diamonds have striker Jefferson Louis cup-tied, while Rob Wolleaston is ruled out with a calf problem.

Most notable Rushden and Diamond players are Paul Terry, shit version of John, and Lee Tomlin their top scorer with 8 goals.

Fact of the week: Brighton have conceded 26 goals with Graeme Smith between the sticks. We have only scored 29 meaning a result of over 3 goals to Rushden would see Smith concede more goals in his 7 games than we have scored in our 23 games this season.

I am going for a narrow Brighton win with:
Ø Lee Tomlin scoring for Rushden
Ø Rushden to lead at half time
Ø Smith to concede two or more
Ø C.Davies to score at any point
Ø At least one pensioner in the north stand to die at any point due to f*** wit defending.
Ø Candy floss to be reduced from an unfriendly four pound down to a reasonable price.

One things for sure, we may have a battered mars bar scoffing, uninterested, dour, James Mcavoy look-a-like in goal however we will be victories and it will be full steam ahead into the 3rd round draw aboard the mighty “Gus Bus” ALBIONNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN!!!

Why are there loads of references to Dagenham?

Official match thread scores a poor 2.3 out of 10.
