It shows that Capello will pick players on form and no matter who you play for if you play to the required standard you're in. Also good to see Terry and Lampard back.

So how do you explain Beckhams inclusion ?

It'll be for his 100th cap, I expect he'll play a part in this game and then the double header v USA and Trinidad and Tobago in the summer and that'll be that for him. He deserves his 100th cap, he's been a great ambassador for the English game.

When's the T&T game, I can't see any mention of it?

After watching Chelsea last night i don't know why Ashley Cole has been picked. The guy is a disgrace and i don't want him representing my country.

I don't really like the idea of Terry leading England either - not if he brings the same attitude to the England squad that seems to be common place amongst the Chelsea team

i think terry is a decent leader, but wouldn't necessarily have him playing every game, on the other hand i can't identify a single leader in the squad other than gerrard, who often goes missing for england

atleast terry is often in the THICK OF THE ACTION
