The pilot suffered a head wound in the crash, police said
A pilot has had a lucky escape after his plane crashed into a tree at a golf course in Dundee.

The microlight struck the tree on the 15th hole at the city's Caird Park Golf Course, at about 1650 BST, hitting the trunk at about 100ft up.

I assume the pilot (although ultimately failing) was trying to avoid the WOODS, NORMAN's land would have been ideal, but was a WIE bit unlucky. I am sure we will read about this in the DALY Mail tomorrow and I am glad to hear that the rescuers ROSE to the occasion and he did not pay the ultimate PRICE.
