After years of being ripped off by the AA because I've been too lazy to look around I've now sold my soul to the RAC for £35 (online price)......although reading the Green Flag quote above I could very well have fugged up again!

The AA cover the person not the vehicle so if I am a passenger in your car and you break down I can call them out for you.

Excatly.Spend that little bit more and you get a better deal with the AA.If you have a Lloyds bank account it's free anyway(the cheapest cover they do)

They cover the vehicle here now if you weren't a member pre-demutualisation :(

That said, 5 years AA from Fiat on my car, as well as a five year warranty :)
