Oh that is hilarious in a kind of sad way; after all the hoohah on Saturday through to Tuesday with the Bournemouth fans begging him to stay (rather than take up offers from Charlton or Palace) and his eventual tearful statement that he was staying as he loved the players and the fans too much to leave, for him to join Burnley a few days later would be the biggest kick in the teeth ever, and would surely send Bournemouth into freefall?

Re Charlton: We are supposedly appointing Chrissy Powell as our new manager in the next 24 hours. No previous managerial experience (current role as first team coach at Leicester is the highest job he's had), but a top bloke, well loved by players in general (was until recently the PFA Chairman) and a total Charlton legend whose appoinment will give us a real feel-good factor regardless of whatever else he might or might not bring to the job.

Agree on Howe. Bournmouth fans and staff must feel absolutely shafted.

Pleased to hear that you are appointing an utter novice too. All good. (Would still rather it had been Wise though...)

There is no loyalty in Football, how many times does this need to happen (with players and management) before people wake up and smell the coffee?
