Is there a designated "away fan" pub in Birmingham or is it the case we have to Drink miles away from the ground.

Any info on pubs Albion fans will be in will be greatly appreciated.

No real away friendly pubs out by the ground, far better off drinking in the city centre

I'd stay well away from virtually every boozer from the Digbeth side of the Bullring up to The Sty (St Andrews). They really do have a lot very unpleasent supporters imo & I'd watch yourself up there as you head to & come away from the ground. The good news is that there's plenty of decent pubs & bars in the city centre where you can have a good laff & some decent beer & grub. There's plenty of cabs around the back of New St Station too to get you up there, but I wouldn't know about the provision for taxis at the ground post-match. I wouldn't bother with the buses tbh & the train's only worthwhile if you fancy seeing the surrounding shit-hole & you're up for some bovver.

Loads of pubs down Broad Street and around the canal from what i remember.

Yep, really nice area down there by the canals, and as you said loads of good places on Broad Street, Walkabout, Lloyds, Spoons etc plus a couple of decent ale pubs i believe

City centre it is then. Thanks chaps.

Have been told to expect some sort of horrible welcome on the train so will certainly be keeping our wits about us.

According to the Football Ground Guide there's a pub called the Brighton Pub on Coventry Road that tolerates away fans. A portent perhaps?!

And for there next home game it will be called the Peterborough Pub lol. Could be good to get in there thanks for that.

Mate, I've lived in Birmingham for the last 20 years. A fine city and their supporters the most passionate in the region. Heading to the Anchor in Digbeth with the Lich enclave (I've checked with the landlord - it is away supporter friendly).
