Ex-Chelsea coach 'Big' Phil Scolari has sensationally today entered the running to be Brighton & Hove Albions new manager, replacing Micky Adams after a poor run of results at the struggling sea-side club.
Acaz Fellegger, Scolari's agent today confirmed that Scolari was actually in talks with Chairman Dick Knight, saying "Scolari is in talks with the team, he views them as an ambitious team with a lot to prove, its exciting times for Phil and I."
In Brazil, speculation emerged in the press about the possibility of Scolari returning to coach the Brazilian National football team, but Scolari has said he will continue living in London.
If such a shock appointment is to take place, it could be a very interesting place down at the Withdean, and will be sure to get fans and neutrals alike excited.
