My local Indian does a great Murghi Massala - Chicken breast stuffed with lamb in a creamy Massala sauce. Proper delicious.

Great Bhaji's too. But what dishes does everyone else like?

There are three curry houses in Seaford, and I have had great curries in all of them.

For convenience the jalfrezzi at both Ashoka and Indiana in Church Road do the job for me - good value and suitably delicious

a word of warning: 'chef's special' at the Indiana isn't particularly

Nizam's takeaway in Pevensey bay used to be jolly good but I haven't been there for a few years

However, as with 'The X-Factor' there has to be a winner and ...............
.......
..........

....The Ashoka (no relation) in Cornfield Terrace, Eastbourne is my favourite

The New Mum Taj Mahal used to be good in Eastbourne, but I think it's gone now.

top curry, following a recommendation I went in the other 'Taj Mahal' in Seaside by mistake (easy mistake) - that was OK but i couldn't understand what all the fuss was about. A few weeks later I went in the right one .......... I'm salivating just thinking about it

......my will is broken, I'm off to get a take away from the Indiana and I'm not even hungry - had liver & bacon in Harry's earlier .................... mmmmm liver

My local, Shafiques in Goring Road does a brilliant fish dish. Both the Fawzia and Maas Biran are two tandori trouts served on a bed of rice....lightly spiced and with a side dish of veg curry. Absolutr bargin at about £11.

Ashoka in Eastbourne. Best I've ever had, generally the quality of the Indian is far superior to the dishes served over here.
