I was very impressed with the Italian singing before the game tonight, it's always a bonus when you can hear the out of tune roaring of the players

Funny how our players aren't so enthusiastic, maybe it's because of our crap national anthem.

Anyway, what's your favourite- World Cup nations only?

God save our gracious queen, long live our noble queen
She lives in Slough
It's by the motorway, just a stone's throw away
From where the refugees all stay
She lives in Slough

She's just like you and me, with a posher lavatory
She lives in Slough
Tourists and tyrants know it's handy for Heathrow
She wears a hat and says "Hello" ("What do you do?")
She lives in Slough

And though she owns Balmoral and her income's immoral,
She lives in Slough
She probably likes the view, and a good sag aloo
She probably votes Labour, too
She lives in Slough!

Uruguay as when theirs was played being South American and so long Mrs Hut commented about how unusual to have a National Anthem with no words and hey presto the singing started :lolol::lolol:

Needless to say Mini Hut did not let the occasion pass without a comment or 10 about woman and football.

La Marseillaise is a belter but I'm impressed with the Italian and Argentinian anthems too. There are some real bloody dirges though, not just GSTQ, the Dutch and the Aussie ones aren't much better

Always loved the New Zealand one for some reason, maybe just watching the rugby but they don't half sing it with passion. I also like that there are two verses, one in English and one in Maori. Nice.

This might actually rival GSTQ for utter shit-ness (but not the funeral march, AKA Flower of Scotland)
