Best Band you've seen live

A few highlights:

Smiths, Brighton Dome, 1985 - the greatest. Period.
Hue and Cry, Brighton Event, 1988 - not a very good band really but I really admired Pat Kane, the most psuedy man alive and hence something of a role model.
Easterhouse, T&C Club II, London, 1989. Greatest political band ever.
Divine Comedy, London Astoria 1996 Neil Hannon - genius.
Steps, Wembley Arena, 2000 Front row seats here, probably the closest insight I'll ever get to being gay
Elvis Costello, Los Angeles 2001 - quite funny because he was patronising the Yanks a bit
ABC, Brighton Escape, 2001-ish - there was only about 50 people there, a bit embarrassing then really, but it allowed me to stand just 4 feet away from MF when he was doing my fave ever song "All of My Heart".
Pet Shop Boys, Trafalgar Square, a couple of months ago.

I got Lovebuzz, and a mate in Aussie sent me their early singles. They are great.

If it was just about The Go-Betweens, The Triffids and Nick Cave I'd be a Aussie-phile

It's just the rest of them

Reading this thread what great times I had as a young piglet!,find it hard to believe how many of us have travelled to so many great gigs, i,ve been lucky and been to many however in no particular order:

Queen: Knebworth just beat wembly
U2: Sussex uni early 80's before Octobers release.
Stiff Little Fingers: In the tent at Stammner Park late 80's
The Alarm: Hammersmith palais Christmas Eve late 80's
Big Country: The Astoria late 80's
The Southern Death Cult : The top rank mid 80's

Oh so many happy times.....then I got married and its Will bloody Young this week with the wife..!
