Well-known member
A few highlights:
Smiths, Brighton Dome, 1985 - the greatest. Period.
Hue and Cry, Brighton Event, 1988 - not a very good band really but I really admired Pat Kane, the most psuedy man alive and hence something of a role model.
Easterhouse, T&C Club II, London, 1989. Greatest political band ever.
Divine Comedy, London Astoria 1996 Neil Hannon - genius.
Steps, Wembley Arena, 2000 Front row seats here, probably the closest insight I'll ever get to being gay
Elvis Costello, Los Angeles 2001 - quite funny because he was patronising the Yanks a bit
ABC, Brighton Escape, 2001-ish - there was only about 50 people there, a bit embarrassing then really, but it allowed me to stand just 4 feet away from MF when he was doing my fave ever song "All of My Heart".
Pet Shop Boys, Trafalgar Square, a couple of months ago.
