never understood the fascination with this. What's the problem with going to watch the football and - shock horror - going just to enjoy the game, as opposed to being a lairy faux geezaaahh Grow the **** up, we support Brighton, it ain't Green St.
You've never understood the fascination with fashion cults? It's no different from goths, mods, punks, teddies, trustafarians and a million and one others. Each have their own slang, style of dress, rituals. Just so happens this fashion cult is more attached to football than music or politics.
And no doubt some wag will post "pwoppa nawty" within the next 10 posts. Green Street is NOT a portrayal of how casuals behave, talk or even look like - it's a caricature that's been grossly distorted for entertainment, it's how the film industry works. It's the equivalent of saying that all motorbikers are like their film portrayal in Easy Rider.
I wouldnt have thought so mate, never heard him talk about it
There are a few famous faces who were/are casuals though
Casuals UTD, what the hell are they?
Never heard of them, sounds cringey
I have known casuals who have serious jobs, left wing, right wing, black, white, dig holes for a living, solicitors, it takes allsorts
The media love a stereo type, which tints what its about
Mark Owen from Take That used to be a casual.
