Anyone interested in entering a team for 5-a-side beach football? It's on Monday nights, kick-off is between 6pm and 7:30pm.

It's great fun.

It is 5 a side, mixed teams. Each team has to have at least one female on the pitch at all times.

It runs right through to October. At the moment there are only 6 teams in the league, so we are trying to get more teams involved, so it makes the league more exciting, as there'd be more games

The last time I played beach foootball at Yellowave was with a Frenchman, who used to dummy a hot, but manage to flick sand in your direction. Is that legal?

This league is for teams who are looking for friendly but competitive, non-contact 5-a-side footy played on the alternative surface of sand.

Weekly match fees are £27.50/team to be paid prior to your game. A refundable deposit of three weeks match fees (£82.50) is required at the start of each league.

Teams must have at least one player of the opposite sex on the pitch at all times.

Each match lasts 36 mins and is made up of three 12 min sets.

No Age restrictions, far as I'm aware. Been playing it for nearly year, and it is Fantastic.

It is an adults league, so depends on how old. I dont think theres anyone under 18 playing in any team at present.

Did it four years ago for my lads birthday party,its a young fellas game Did enjoy watching it on tv recently although we got smashed by nations with no coastlines
