Might be less of a problem if we had a decent TICKET EXCHANGE?
Might be less of a problem if we had a decent TICKET EXCHANGE?
"The only place Albion fans can buy their tickets safely and with confidence is via seagullstickets.com. The club’s site will soon offer the only legal re-sale section for season-ticket holders, and these will only ever be resold at face value via the club's ticket line or website."

If people are caught touting for loyalty points or profit, then I hope the club throw the book at them.
"It is also disappointing that fans, with the necessary loyalty points, have purchased tickets and chosen to offer them for re-sale, and, in some cases, over and above the face value price rather than attend the match to support the team.
“It appears that these individuals have no intention of attending the match, and have bought tickets simply to profiteer, gain loyalty points, or both. We would remind these individuals that the unauthorised sale or transfer of tickets to a football match is a criminal offence under UK law.
Plastic fans, the loyalty points should be on to who went to the Goldstone, Gillingham and Withdean also.
The plastic fan is making a mug out of the die hards.
There are times when Barber can be a pompous, patronising ****

Soon. Hopefully the club will start to offer this service more enthusiastically and earlier from this point forward. With only restricted tickets available for Man City at this point it should have been activated already. The club has a role in all of this too, not just having a pop at supporters and they need to step up.
This has nothing to do with our supporters re-selling tickets for away games though. Seems a bit surprising to me, I would hope its just a small handful. A couple of audits at early games should be able to weed this out quickly if they are serious about fixing it.
But, seemingly have enough points to buy away tickets. Maybe it's one or two of the die hards who are touting?

Which part of this quote, do you take issue with? I think he's absolutely spot on.
How are they going to do that? Refuse entry to anyone who hasn't got photo id??
The fact that he feels the need to say anything at all. This is a problem right across the PL we all know about - he doesn't need to keep banging on about this and the fact that if we dared to give our season tickets to anyone else we would be hung, drawn and quartered and left to rot in the Tower of London.
