Anyone had dealings with The Winged Messenger

My g/f has recieved a short letter from, the investigations dept, of 'The Winged Messenger'.
They claim to be acting on behalf of a client, requesting her to contact an 0800 nos, in order to assist their enquiry.

Has anyone had any contact with these people, as obviously the natural reaction is to ignore it.

If you really wanted to contact someone then you would surely call them rather than sending them a letter asking them to call you.... (just a thought)

But I think my g/f is a little more concerned by this than she's letting on so I thought I'd open it up to a 'busy' Monday audience, as well.

It does look legit, but it may just be a case of your g/f having the same name as somebody who owes money, worth ringing the number I would suggest, especially if she has no old creditors, but don't volunteer any personal information and 141 the call
