It's not that expensive in the Grand Harty? Northern Lights Bartholomew Square? Or take your pick down Preston Street!

Spoons on West Street if you're that granite.

Not granite at all, but going with a table of ten and all meeting up beforehand and you cannot detract from the fact that the bar at the Grand is expensive a fact not lost on a number of the older members of our party.

Meet early in a cheaper venue, have a few drinks and then go into Grand and enjoy tales of 1966 from Sir Geoff all in aid of Chestnut Tree House.

The Fatherland
Northern Lights is a good call. The Regency Tavern just of Russell Square is also recommend.

I went today and have to say it was a bloody good event.

Saw Harty narrowly miss out on the heads and tails. Was coming over to say hello but you dashed away at the end.

Good event for a good cause. Thought the ladies from the Chestnut Tree Foundation were excellent. Many charity speakers struggle to present their cause because frankly they are not very good at presenting as it's not what they do, but these were excellent and certainly got the money out.

And a certain Mr T Bloom got his wallet out again. Well done Tony, yet again.

Oh and Sir Geoff Hurst, to state the bleeding obvious, is a complete legend.
