Rather astoundingly, my younger brother is moving to Bangalore.

I rather fancy going out to see him in the new year. Anyone ever been there... and what did you pay for your flights?

(Would also like to do some train rides if poss)

My Grandfather died in an air crash there.

Bizarrely it was a flight to celebrate the ability to fly round the world.

Algie, I'm sure you'd disapprove of him going over there, taking their jobs....

Have they got jobs over there going then?:lolol:

Paddy until about two years ago and starting again in November, goes for work about twice every six months. He goes alternately to Cockin and Bangalore.

He just booked flights to Hindustan for November, returning six weeks later and paid £414 return. I don't know how that compares or if can be cheaper elsewhere since he has to use British Airways to get the company to pay him back.

Is that your work in the signature?

Do you know the difference between their and there?

I've been there - eat once in a week and no idea how I still had to be in the loo 7 days after eating! Other than that it was a great experience.

I knew a woman once. I must have been rather keen on her, because I took her to see India!

At the Oval! A fine match, a marvellous finish...
