ANGRY Abi Titmuss has launched a legal fight to ban a pornographic video showing her romping with a girl pal.
The steamy flick has become the top-selling XXX-rated bootleg ever.
But now the raunchy blonde has had enough — and is set to seek a gagging-style court order to ban it from shops.
TV’s Abi, 28, is horrified that the filthy film — stolen and copied after being shot at the home of her ex-lover John Leslie — has become available to every drooling porn fan in Britain.
She is adamant she has not made — and does not wish to make — a penny from the video, which is also a big hit on the internet. And she does not know who has.
Abi has instructed lawyers to do anything it takes to get the flick banned.
And she told a pal: “I am sick of people making money off my back. If necessary, I will go all the way to court to get this off the shelves.”
Video and DVD copies are selling like hot cakes at shops across Britain, priced around £20.
The graphic 17-minute film opens with former nurse Abi giving oral sex to ex-This Morning host Leslie, 39.
It moves on to explicit girl-on-girl action on a bed in Leslie’s South West London home, during which Abi also pleasures an unseen man.
Another lesbian romp in a bath is followed by Abi caressing a second girl’s breasts and using a sex toy.
There are several other kinky “scenes” far more lurid than those pictured here.
A porn dealer in London’s seedy Soho told yesterday how customers were flocking in to demand a copy.
Holding up a video entitled, “You’re A Naughty Girl — Abi Titmuss In Lesbian Sex Acts” — he said:
It is very popular and this is my last copy. I’m going to have to get another batch in to keep up with the demand.
It seems to be more popular than even the Paris Hilton sex video or the Pamela Anderson bootlegs, which we also sold.
We’ve sold hundreds of copies of Abi’s frolics. The video is of good quality. It has got some good lesbian scenes in it and Abi was clearly enjoying herself.
People just can’t get enough of it and it is flying off our shelves. It is the biggest-selling sex bootleg by a mile.
The blurb on the tape boasts: “Abi clearly needs little encouragement as she bosses her lover into a number of sexual positions. Looking at cameraman Leslie, Abi beams, ‘You can tell I’m an actress, can’t you? It’s not quite what I do in film classes’.”
Several shops were advertising the bootleg with handwritten signs in windows. Some internet sites have been created specifically to sell the film.
Abi is a host on the adults-only Fantasy Channel.
But she is launching herself as a celebrity “brand” through a calendar, fitness video and clothes — and is furious her frolics have become so public.
A friend said: “Abi certainly didn’t sanction its sale or distribution. She wishes it had never surfaced and has no idea who is making all the money from it.
“She hasn’t made a bean and wants the video removed from internet sites and shops.”
The friend added: “It is also not nice knowing that people might be discussing her love life over the breakfast table. That is why she is speaking to lawyers at the moment.
“But she has been warned that it is a very difficult thing to stop. The problem is that as soon as one internet site is closed down, another opens up.”
However, media law specialist Robert Lands reckons Abi stands a good chance of getting the bootleg banned.
Mr Lands, of London law firm Finers Stephens Innocent, said: “This video is a copyright infringement as it is owned by the person who shot it.
“That person should be able to get a court order to get an account of profits and claim damages. It is also an infringement of her privacy. The people who are distributing this video are also committing a criminal offence of handling stolen goods for commercial gain.”
Another legal expert said: “Abi would have a good case for a ban.
“She is going to have to say this is an infringement of her privacy and that it was only intended for the benefit of her and Leslie. If Abi was to go the courts I could see these videos being pulled within 24 hours.”
Abi will follow the path taken by Paris Hilton and Pamela Anderson if she presses ahead with legal action.
