may i just take this oppertunity to rubbish the anti war brigade who spouted on the 200,000 people marched against bush/blair and the war in Iraq, they said it would have been more if it wasnt a week day.

WELL......

England rugby parade- 750,000!!!! on a week day, just to welcome some sportsman that isnt really that popular a sport here.

goes to show more people care about sport than the war in Iraq

the way it should be!

so a bunch of glory hunters bunked off work to cheer "our boys"who won f*** all,a mickey mouse tourament against 4 real competitors and a bunch of no hopers.
and how we laugh at our transatlantic cousins and the rissible WORLD SERIES baseball.
when a few latin american countries(not ex-pats masquarading as argentina) compete then we might get a true world cup.

Really?...Depends on your personal concience I guess? If you want to bury your head in the sand against war crimes being commited in YOUR name, thats your choice. If loads of gloryhunters, many of whom have probably never played or been to a rugby match, want to jump on the bandwagon of hype for a day, thats their choice too. Fifteen men won the World cup in our name. Last week the total number of children killed by the Americans in bungled attacks in Afganistan totaled fifteen! Still, who cares eh?.....

you have got to admit he has a valid point.10,000 millitary and 40000 civillian deaths in the actual conflict, about 3-900 a week in interfaction fighting and gang warfare, kids with limbs blown off by cluster bomblets.got to admit they are really reaping the benefits of a democratic society, can all vote for an american endorsed puppet some time in the next 3 years.

saddam hussain was the problem,america-the nation that put him in power-could never be the solution.
