I had the 'we beat the scum one-nil' song stuck in my head for the whole of Wednesday then my silly wife went and mentioned our perilous financial position this morning and since then I've had Money's Too Tight To Mention playing on a loop. I f***ing hate that Simply Red and Mick Hucknall, what a turd that man is. I'm surprised that he doesn't support Palace instead of Man Utd. Perhaps they're his second team, yes, I bet they are. What a bunch of wankers.

Got a Palace STH coming round to mine this weekend (husband of a good friend of my wife, what can I do?). Absolutely superb timing, it's the first time they've been round since the weekend after they got relegated. He sure times his visits well.

Catch22 rocks, it's one of those books you can read again and again and it's still as good as the first time. A mate of mine reads it once a year without fail. Shame about the film though.
