LB - What about Bernie Gallagher - Played for Villa and us in the dark days at Withdean
CF - Sam Williams - Loan player from Villa a few seasons back now playing at Yeovill.

They are my two crap efforts for the team!

What about warren aspinall

Ahhh, the mighty Pies, who graced the Withdean flanks with his pace and
silky wing play in the Micky Adams (1) era :lolol:

I doubt Sam Williams ever kicked a ball for them.

Also, in goal, Wayne "The ball is in my net again" Henderson deserves a shout. Not in his favour, mind.

Good call!

Sad to read this on Wikpedia...

After leaving the game, Aspinall turned to drink and picked up a gambling addiction.[2] His gambling cost him around £1 million that he earned during his long career.[2] On the verge of suicide, after narrowly avoiding death by train,[3] saved only by last minute thoughts of his family,[4] he checked himself into the Sporting Chance clinic.[2]
He is now working in a Sainsbury's distribution centre in Basingstoke.[2] He also scouts for League Two side Port Vale, under manager Micky Adams.[2]

and Jim Walker as physiotherapist

Blimey, we could start to build a whole backroom staff.

I wonder what the team's kit would look like...

Musn't forget the fullback Ron Guttridge, who played for us between 1948-50 and came from Villa.

We also had goalkeeper Tommy Hughes on loan in 72.

Freddie Goodwin.

Didn't Des Bremner play for Villa, or have I got the wrong brother?

Jim Walker also played for Albion in midfield.

Another goalkeeper in Welsh international John Phillips, 15 Appearences for Villa and 1 for us in 1980-81 season.
And of course Alan Curbushley
