Should be well worth watching the lad's light-welterweight bout v Laszlo Komjathi of Hungary.

Some decent betting opportunities on bhabet (bet365.com) also. Khan is 1/2 to win inside the distance which looks distinctly generous compared to his 1/100 to win the fight.

The round betting for Khan to win is:

Amir Khan to win in round 1 13/2
Amir Khan to win in round 2 6/1
Amir Khan to win in round 3 5/1
Amir Khan to win in round 4 5/1
Amir Khan to win in round 5 6/1
Amir Khan to win in round 6 8/1

Seeing as how the bookies are rarely wrong, a plonk on Khan to win in rounds 3 or 4 looks good. With the 1/2 as a saver to cover the round betting

I'm going for Khan in 3.

I'm also picking Eamonn Magee over Takaloo on points.

Got put off boxing for life a few years back when we played Oldham away.

That night we stayed in a hotel in Manchester which also happened to be the base for some young star who was fighting at the Manchester Arena that night.

In the bar after the fight you should have seen the state of him, face puffed up like a balloon. Just like he'd had the crap beaten out of him in fact.

You obviously never get to see the after effects at close range on the telly and after that I've always thought f*ck that for a sport.

Khan just got hit badly.

Boxing is barbaric - I always admired Eubank for his admission on that fact.
