Glad he got a long prison sentence,

but no way pleased to see him being the victim of violence. That's sick.

No so sure if it was a paedo, rapist, violent criminal, Hitler, Assad. Rough justice, might seem not inappropriate.

How on earth has something like that been filmed? That's a bit unethical.

Yes he's a cheating fraudster, but what gives some other shit the right to judge him and dish out a beating? I for one don't want the criminals deciding punishments for each other.

This - what is this 'got what he deserved' bullshit. Hopefully the OP is on a fishing trip...

Despite him being unmistakeably a scumbag, the day when one prisoner gets to decide over another prisoner about moral codes, and that act is celebrated, is a sad day for society.

He got a slap for taking too long on the phone and got into an argument with another con. It had nothing to do with his offence. As for it being filmed.......thats the US for you. Strange old laws!

Thanks for enlightening me.

I agree that the 'law of the jungle' is not a good one, but equally it is hard to feel sympathy for such a person as this.

I watched two minutes which was enough time to conclude that this is porn for the violent minded. Unnecessary exploitation of a person in distress. If he has been bad then fine but filming it, really?

Exactly. I'd have thought if that happened in this country, the prisoner would have a reasonable claim that his right to privacy (ie not to have his confidential medical treatment filmed and stuck on the Internet) had been violated to a massive degree.

Agreed. What also disgusts me is the American way of chaining their prisoners even when their not a flight risk - he's hardly in a state to run ! Very similar to the poor bloke sent there for selling batteries to Iran - no bail and in chains despite he has no passport and can go nowhere. That and this video kind of highlight to me how despicable and unintelligent Americans really can be.
