Alex Revell

Has there been a more wholehearted 100 per center than this guy in the team since Cullip left and Charlie got crocked.

He never stops running and tackling and everytime something doesn't come off he's banging the ground and cursing the Gods - what attitude.

What was the third goal like, Mr Irish? Could you, or indeed anyone else at the match, talk me through it, for the benefit of someone currently stuck 50 miles away? I have only seen the text commentary on it.

Great build-up play by Hammond and Revell got the ball about 30 yards out towards the South Stand side of the ground. He whacked it and it flew in.

You have to be chuffed for him because Revell must lead the stats on shots narrowly past the post and bar.

Yeah he's a decent enough player. Nothing to get overly excited about, but more than good enough for his place not to come into doubt. The only thing missing is a few more goals, but he's obviously put that right tonight. He reminds me of a younger, and dare I say it, slightly better Gary Hart. They're not always my favourite sort of players, but it's definitely right to say that any decent team needs 2 or 3 Revell/Hart type players in it.
Agreed, £1,000 + set of tracksuits + 8 years' inflation = £8,000

Yeah, he great. I'd put Gary Hart forward obviously but Revell is his equal in attitude and maybe a slightly better player than Harty is now (a better striker anyway).

looking back in the last 8-10 years since we signed harty we have never signed any one like him, well for a £1000.00 and a training kit he was our best ever singing

but so far this season revell has shown the comentment of harty and he gives 110% every game ( wot a great deal £8000.00)

Hart pre-injury was probably a better player, simply as he had a lot of pace, but he lost a bit when he broke his leg.
