Colin Kazim-Richards is relishing the chance to play for Fenerbahce after completing his surprise move from Sheffield United.

The Turkish champions have agreed to pay £1.275million for Kazim-Richards, who spent less than a year at Bramall Lane.

The forward scored just once in 29 appearances for The Blades after joining from Brighton & Hove Albion.

His impressed watchers back in Turkey and recently made his senior debut for the national team.

Having signed a four-year contract with Fenerbahce, Kazim-Richards expressed his eagerness to start his new adventure.

"I know I have made the right decision to come to the biggest club in Turkey," said Kazim-Richards.

"I can't wait for the season to start and for Fenerbahce to go on to win another Turkish title."

Fenerbahce deputy chairman Neset Yalcin is confident the 20-year-old will be a valuable addition to coach Zico's squad.

Yalcin said: "Although he is very young, he has two years of experience in the Premier League.
"I believe that this young talent will be very useful to Fenerbahce."
