Just got the Deloitte Annual Review of Football Finance through the post, and according to their stats, between the 1998/99 and 2002/03 seasons, the Albion's turnover has increased by 540%, our wage bill has increased by 128%.

In the 2002/03 season, our pre-tax losses amounted to £2.2m, over the five years we had an operating loss of £4.24m

All a bit gobbledigook to me, but someone might be able to make something of it!

I think DK used these figures as justification for the A&K fund. He said if you take away the cost of the planning for Falmer, the cost of redeveloping ??? withdean and the £700K we used to pay off Archer then we'd be more or less even which is pretty good considering we can only get gates of 7000.
