Ok, so tomorrow the albion take over the running of withdean and there fore no longer have to give Ecovert any of the revenue received on match days?

If the club currently manage to break evenish why do our season tickets not become cheaper from now on as the running costs of the ground will be much reduced?

Will there be more funds available for playing staff?

Or does it all just go into the Falmer black hole?

more than likely the revenue has already been speant on all of the above. i dont know whether this was something the club have been aiming for for some time but surely this makes sense all along. now we have to question whether the council/ecovert has been fleecing the club over the last four years. why is it going to save £10,000 a game? etc...

Previously it cost us £26K a game at withdean and no advertising or catering revenue. Ecovert were taking the piss with terms but we were desparate to get back to Brighton. 10 k per game is only saving us around 230,000 per year which will probably just keep things ticking over without the need for cash injections from directors or FBS. This deal plus 1st division footy and 2000 extra seats would probably make the football operations viable in the short term and allow us to plough money into falmer project.

the club have not given up on park and ride. plans are in the pipe line and it is hoped more seats will be installed for next year.
