How much paternity leave were you given and at what pay rate? I'm trying to thrash out an agreement with my boss (small business, so no precedent) and I am interested in what others companies have offered

i took six weeks off with the last one, there are some plus points to being the boss.

the men who work for me are given 10 days full pay and a further five days on no pay but not docked out of holiday if they wish to take it.

One week on full pay, one week unpaid (if wanted)

But are also allowed five 'family' days in addition to holidays per year.

First time around I was given 1 month on full pay (primarily because I had twins).

Second time around I was given 2 weeks on reduced pay :(
