just watched the original again and when you look at it its got just about everything hasnt it. you cant ignore the tune obviously but the artwork is very basic and uncomplicated and i guess that is what appeals accross the board. did the guy who did animations also do When The Wind Blows, seem to recall he did

Perfect. The original, I mean. What better thing to show your kids on Xmas eve. They can relate to the scenes of the Downs, of Brighton. of the Newhaven ferry. Magical. Still brings a tear to my eye. All we need is snow!
