Apologies if this is getting really really boring but an curious as to how people decide to vote in or out and how often they change their minds :)

I have always voted in. I will only vote out if we look in danger of slipping through the league, although I don't think we can find anyone better - sometimes it helps to change managers - new ideas and inject some life into a team.

And where's the option for "have always voted out"?

Not that I want it, in fact I've always voted in, but it seems that a significant proportion of the 'outers' have always voted out regardless of facts, results, circumstances, reality etc.

True but I cannot believe that any sane person would vote out on a promotion and staying in the Championship

Obsesiveness or gloating?

Not sure which, but both are equally dangerous.

Quite, but is that worse than inflexible?

Inflexible is at least conistent, you are being a combination of smug and gloating.

Your mentor has taught you well....

If you can interpret that from a thread started by me that makes absolutely no refererence that I can see to whether it is a good or bad thing to vote in or out, I think it may be you that is being obsessive? I am genuinely interested in why people vote in or out, rightly or wrongly

Wrong again I'm afraid, did I go missing last season when we ended up bottom? No, so no reason I would, should it happen again, in fact I would vote out if we dropped into the relegation zone for a sustained period mid season. Unlike you, I think, I will be able to admit I was wrong if we struggle this season. I assume you voted out even if we get promoted?

Hither (sometimes Thither)
I only respond to polls that quiz incestual couples and beagles who like to muddily wrestle in arid courts with chemical Boots testing in their made-up paws.
So, i'm not really sure.
