I want to create a compliation CD of 80s rock tracks. I just wondered if anyone on here had any suggestion of good tracks to feature on the CD. Obviously I've got loads I'm contemplating, but having other peoples viewpoint helps open it up a bit

Cutting Crew - 'It Just Crawled Up My Arse and Died' (or something like that!)
Dire Straits - Brothers In Arms (for a bit of mellow)

Falmer, soon...
If we're talking classic Rock, I don't think you can go wrong with

Alice Cooper - Poison
GnR - Sweet Child o' Mine

But then you've got all those power ballad things...

Heart - Alone
Bonnie Tyler - total eclipse

etc.

I'm sure there are dozens of Now That's What I Call The Best 80s Drive Time Rock Power Ballad Albums In The World Ever Ever Ever Part VII you could take inspiration from.

Or failing that, buy :lolol:

Personally I'd say Rainbow: Since You've Been Gone would be a good starting point, and a bit of Jump by Van Halen.

Jump reminds me of Crabtree, who I saw dancing around merrily when Bristol City stuck it on just after half time at Ashton Gate :D
