Nah it's red and white, Brighton and Hove AlbionCommemorative half and half??
You must have been in with the sardines at the away end.Yes there was snow, but not overly cold.
Doubt it would make my top 5 of coldest games attended.
Snap. Special train direct from Brighton to Peterborough that crawled through the outer areas of London for what felt like hours.Should never have been played. Their second goal was scored by a lump of ice.
I was a young red scarfer on the special train. I remember sitting in the main stand with us 2-1 down and no longer caring about the match. My feet were almost frozen and I just wanted to go home.
There was one to Liverpool in 1991. By that time I had discovered alcohol and a Young Person's Railcard. Our scheduled train pulled up alongside the Special at one stage in the north and we waved our tinnies out the window.Absolutely crushed on the terraces. Relieved at result and getting out alive.
Last time special trains were run?
It was lovely and warm - esp when the flares and fireworks were let off.You must have been in with the sardines at the away end.
Couldn’t stand upon that terrace. Sheet ice!! Is my memory failing me or was the terrace along the side of the pitch in those days?Absolutely packed like sardines on the terraces. Relieved at result and getting out alive.

Coldest was Barnet away, boxing day 2000.you had to be there!!
'Hold on, I've got 1lb of cocaine here, officer. Been meaning to get rid of it'We were on a coach.
I remember not only my mate opening the egg sandwiches his mum had made him.
But a local policeman getting on as we approached the ground telling us 'if anyone one has anything illegal on them you're to put it in this bin bag'.
He walked up the coach, turned and walked back down again...
...with his empty bin bag.
As said ask me what I did last Thursday and I haven't got a fudging clue'.
I was a sardine that day. Twas cold. You must have been in with the sardines at the away end.
Agree, Boundary Park in May would be colder!!!Yes there was snow, but not overly cold.
Doubt it would make my top 5 of coldest games attended.
