The 1st Princess of Wales regiment was parading through the town as they were granted the freedom of the city in 1959, and had just returned from service in Afghanistan.
There was a HUGE turnout. and excellent atmosphere if a little wary what with all the police search teams present etc.

Especially rousing was them being accompanied by GOSBTS performed by their red suited 'Khomina' band as they paraded.

Standing in Worthing it really hit how young these lads out there are.

It felt good to clap and cheer them, Top Stuff.

Thanks for posting this mate! I dont think enough people give these men and women credit for the job they do! They are putting there lives on the line day in and day out! My brother is in the princess of wales regiment. He rutrned from afghanistan about 2 months ago after a 5 month tour. His mate was killed the other day out in afghanistan and things out there only seem to be getting worse! I just wished people could relly see how hard these people work!
