This year we are going to experience four unusual dates: 1/1/11, 1/11/11, 11/1/11, 11/11/11, and that's not all; Take the last two digits of the year you were born and the age you will be this year and the result will add up to 111 for everyone!!!! Also, this year, October will have 5 Sundays, 5 Mondays & 5 Saturdays. (This happens only once every 823 years). In year 2005, October had 5 Sundays, 5 Mondays & 5 Saturdays.

Next year it will be 112 then 113 etc. etc. Unless of course you were born after 2000.

My niece was born in '08 and was 3 this year. That doesn't add up to 111...

Is that the same as one in 7 ?

Not quite, it follows a 28-year pattern because of leap years.

(And yes, I know the lack of leap years in 9 out of 10 "00" years is going to cock that up slightly, but not much.)
