This is advanced notice that there will be some downtime for NSC later this week, likely to be either Thursday or Friday evening.

The main piece of work to be undertaken will be to upgrade vBulletin, the software used by NSC, to the most recent version. This may well bring some new features that I subsequently turn on and off again to both delight and confuse you.

We'll also be implementing some changes that aim to improve the efficiency with which NSC runs and try and reduce our hosting bills which are now approaching £300 per month.

Of course, it could all go horribly wrong and NSC dies, so enjoy it whilst you can.

I'll be looking at all manner of things, like buttons included, once we've upgraded.

I'm not giving any commitment to do anything in any kind of hurry though, obviously.
