Actually don’t think they will (any more than they are already for some). A fair % (me included) seem to have written the rest of the season off (there have been enough highlights to balance the pisspoor second half) and are ready for the rest/window/pre-season and to see what happens in that...
De Zerbi now being discussed on TS (again - this time Kelly/Murphy).
paraphrased :
’Best players sold ‘from under him’’
’Huge injury list’
’Extra games in Europe’
But…..
Too predictable to play against
Too much rotation/too many changes, never nailed down a PL team (injuries accepted)
Teams...
Might be more the other way round……it’s what I didn’t see. Would have thought wit a makeshift defence Dunk would have been far more vocal than he appeared to be……
Not sure about this - they're not looking at one season in isolation, it's a long term plan to be a consistent top ten side (which doesn't necessarily mean we'll do it every season - so many factors come into play) plus being financially sustainable. If having one season where things go a bit...
Interesting as not how I saw it (apart from Igor who had a really poor game) and I was also referring to the last few weeks in general not just yesterday.
Yep - would also put my tin hat on and point a finger at the skipper and one or two other senior players in particular if motivation is that much of an issue. It was Gilmour yesterday that was doing most of the shouting and gesticulating.
Ideally yes re 2 but even subconsciously that’s incredibly difficult for the team. Seems our target was European qualification - with that gone, it nigh on impossible to be at 100% to try to get, say, 10th.
How so ? Exactly who should have started that didn’t? Enciso isn’t fully fit, Welbeck can‘t start two games in 4 days, Baleba was awful v Man City and Gilmour needed to come in anyway……..
