    I think we need to learn the lesson that playing every game as if we are 1-0 down with 5 minutes to go is not a viable option when the attack is not converting chances. Especially for a first leg match in Europe.

    It’s easy and obvious to keep saying this but there’s every sign tonight that with Mitoma, March and Joao Pedro we’d have still been very much in with a chance. Mac had given great service. Caicedo turned out to be a twat. If keeping them was an option, it’d be fair enough to keep moaning about it.

    Not much in it really. A quality goal by a quality player and one stupid mistake, plus the usual profligacy up front. We give away so many easy goals now without the attacking effectiveness to justify it. Not surprising with the players missing but a frustrating recurring theme. Think we need...
