Until his childish strop I was a big fan. He is a very good keeper who hasn’t got the ball skills to play the way RDZ wants his keeper to play. Other than that he’s a top keeper. As long as Poch doesn’t want a player who is excellent not just good with his feet he will be challenging for the no...
Mind boggling for those of us who chanted “We’ve got a Maltese International” back in the day :lolol:
This was when we signed Chelsea has beens and were very happy to do so.
NSC is very black or white on this isn’t it?
I’ll just say I’m pleased he’s going, he can only be poison in the ears of other players now. I don’t actually care how good he was or will become. So no grey from me either.
How very dewy eyed and forgiving you are.
If he was drawing wages he should not be making himself unavailable. If he stopped drawing them I’d agree with you, but I’m sure he didn’t.
We don’t need bad apples like that around the squad imo. Yes he was good, yes he may turn out to be great but he...
Maybe, he might have forced his way back if he hadn’t thrown a strop here. Anyway at Chelsea he’s sure to find lots more like minded Prima Donnas to moan with if he’s not first choice
It’s quite ironic that the keeper who couldn’t take not being first choice is probably going to a club where he will 100% be a back up keeper from the off
Seems Mitrovic is going down the same path as Sanchez. I wonder if a Saudi club might come in for Sanchez too?
Silva on Mitrovic
"As you know, he is not going to play tomorrow, he didn't play last Wednesday, he is not working properly with his team-mates, and when I say it is not the ideal...
I think maybe 5% have said he wasn’t much good in fairness, most are just pissed off with him sulking and downing tools. He will regret this one day I’m sure as he was a big part of how we’ve done in the last two seasons. The fact he didn’t join in the end of season celebrations is pretty sad imo.
However good he was or could be and yes I thought he was good, downing tools is unforgivable and yet it seems you think it’s justified. That is just odd to me
Why do you keep defending his actions? Genuinely interested.
When was the last time any club relegated a first team player to training alone and refused to let them leave when they went “rogue” and hung out for a full value transfer?
I genuinely don’t remember one at any club. Better to cut your losses than have a bad apple hanging around in the squad...
I think it may have been intended as a couple of matches rest initially after the Palace cock up but Jason Steele grabbed his chance with both feet, don’t know about you but I was very pleasantly surprised by how well he did. He deserved to keep the shirt imo.
