There only needs to be 40 or so Tory rebels to defeat the Government, which would surely be the end? They must be able to organise that?

I think she'd be gone already if there was someone else who could slot in, without outroar from one side of the party. As there isn't, it's probably in their interest, at least in the short-term, to stick with her as PM in name only, unless she balls up PMQs , as mentioned above...

Yes, there was an interview with him yes where he was saying he has been bought into sort out the mess and that he will, whilst also stating various policies completely at odds with Truss'. She is PM in name only.

No doubt she has Hunt down as one of the anti-growth-coalition members, following his time in previous Governments. Presumably also Kwarteng who she just fired :shrug:

Thing is, none of these attributes are news, we have known this for weeks/months/years. However, she still got the second highest number of MPs voting for her and most Tory party members :shrug:

That particular poster will have to sack the recent two employees they took on following the mini budget, not the only ones getting sacked :(
